Our Barnes & Noble Book-Fair is tonight!! Come by the South Tampa Barnes & Noble (located at 213 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33609) to enjoy a teacher read along, meet authors Jodi Stone and Richard Born, and preview and pick up your novel study books for the school year. 8th Grade Socratic Seminar (8/30/2018)
Today in Avid, our 8th grade girls participated in their first Socratic Seminar!! They were posed the question, "Does non-verbal communication impact the attitudes or decisions of others around them?" After reviewing an article on Non Verbal Communication, the students used evidence from the article to converse, pose questions, and defend their ideas on the subject. |
