School closed Monday and Tuesday (9/9/2017)
BridgePrep Academy of Tampa will be closed both Monday, September 11th and Tuesday, September 12th. Superintendent Eakins has made the decision that there will be no school through at least Tuesday. Please take the steps you need to keep your family safe! |

Bridgeprep Academy of Tampa is closed this coming Monday by order of Gov. Rick Scott. Thursday - Sept. 7, 2017 - 9:20 pm Hillsborough Schools will be closed Friday and Monday. Governor Rick Scott has ordered all Florida Schools closed through Monday, September 11 as the state braces for Hurricane Irma. BridgePrep South Tampa is paying close attention to hurricane Irma. We are connected with the media outlets and School District of Hillsborough County. Please stay posted with all our social media outlets as we will share information at the point it is provided to us. Gentle reminder that BridgePrep Academy South Tampa Charter follows the School District of Hillsborough County (SDHC); therefore, any information provided by media during after school hours regarding SDHC will apply to our school. For the latest information regarding Hillsbourough Schools and Hurricane Irma, visit our Weather Information page and stay informed. Bridgeprep South Tampa, at times, floods in the circle for arrival and dismissal. In cases where school is open but heavy rains occur, please do not hesitate to walk your child to the school building for drop off and pick up in the front of the church (coming into front parking lot off Swann and exiting from Moody).
