7th GRADE: Immunization Requirements (7/26/2021)
DON'T DELAY: Immunization Requirements for students entering seventh Grade Students entering seventh grade must submit an updated immunization record with a Tdap. All students from seventh through twelfth-grade immunization record must show that the student has met the minimal state requirements: 5 doses DTaP (diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis) 4 doses Polio (IPV or OPV) 2 doses MMR< (measles-mumps-rubella) 3 doses Hepatitis B 1 dose Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis)* 2 doses Varicella (chickenpox) or has had the disease as documented by a healthcare provider** |

Hillsborough County Public Schools Back-2-School Health Clinic Jul. 17, 2021 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Description The Back to School Coalition of Hillsborough County has seven appointment-only sites set up this summer to provide students entering kindergarten through high school grade level with physicals, eye exams, dental screenings, immunizations, and shot record updates for school enrollment. The COVID-19 VACCINE WILL BE AVAILABLE TO CHILDREN 12 TO 18 YEARS OLD. Due to CDC guidelines, space is limited, and COVID-19 safety procedures will be implemented. Summer Reading information to help your child be ready for next school year!!! (7/2/2021)
Research shows that students can maintain or improve reading skills when they are out of school for the summer. Access to books over the summer increases reading opportunities and enjoyment of books, and helps students be ready for next school year. Students who read at least five books during the summer can maintain important literacy skills. |
