Revised-Reopening for 2020-2021 (8/13/2020)
Dear BridgePrep Family: It is with great delight I write today about our reopening plan for the 2020-2021 school year. BridgePrep has heard many of your concerns, wishes, and choice for education. We want to honor what is best for our families while keeping our student and staff safe during these unprecedented times. Therefore, we would like to propose a soft reopen for safety & security of our children and staff. We are looking at honoring your survey choice for your child’s learning environment. We will be exploring those who chose Brick & Mortar to return to the schoolhouses on Aug. 24th, 2020. I will be making personal calls to those who chose a hybrid model (some days in school & some days eLearning) to begin looking at numbers and accounting for what is best for the learning environment. Families who chose eLearning (remote), we have a wonderful plan in place for your child; and our teachers have been studying extensively to ensure proper learning environment for at home or at school students. It is pertinent for you to know we have gone through great measures to ensure safety, see the pictures below for your consideration. To ensure the safest environment possible we are anticipating this soft reopen, based on your choice for Brick and Mortar OR eLearning throughout the opening weeks, unless something drastic happens to reopen or sustain the current situation. We want you to know we miss you and are looking forward to a safe new beginning of the year. We are in this together and I look forward to hearing from you as needed. Good afternoon BridgePrep families, In preparation for reopening for the 2020-2021 school year we are requesting you to complete the BridgePrep Academy Instructional Model Delivery Selection Form. The form will outline the instructional delivery model options available based on the reopening phase the county is in. The deadline to submit the form is Friday, July 24th. A form must be submitted for each child enrolled at the school.
