Dear BridgePrep Families,
On behalf of the staff at BridgePrep Academy K-8 Tampa, I am happy to welcome you to the 2016-17 school year! We look forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. We recognize that in order to be successful in school our children need support from both the home and the educational environment. We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education.
We ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that he/she:
1) Attends school daily and arrives on time, ready for the day’s learning experience.
2) Completes all homework assignments given by teachers
3) Reads daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills
4) Communicates social, emotional, and educational experiences so that we can work as a team
5) Utilizes communication tools to stay connected (Website, Phone app, Class DoJo, Edsby, Weekend Updates, Facebook, Building Flyers & Marquee’s),
Additionally, please consider joining our school Parent Teacher Committee volunteer program, as our children can greatly benefit from your involvement and contributions. We seek YOUR help with ONE of the following activities:
1) Fundraisers
2) Programs
3) Organizational Support
4) Recruitment
5) Enrichment

Communication is key! Together we will continue to improve the quality of our school community and provide the best culture and education for our children. It is very important that you and your child are fully informed regarding standards related to appropriate behavior for a safe and productive school year. 1. July 27, 2016 RETURNING PARENT ORIENTATION @ 5:30 - 6:30 pm in the Gymnasium
2. July 28, 2016 NEW PARENT ORIENTATION @ 4-5pm in the Gymnasium
3. August 1st - 4th Teacher Assignment Calls / Communication to Students/Parents
3. August 9, 2016 Meet your Teacher(s) from 1pm until 3:30pm in our School Bldg.
