WELCOME!! IMPORTANT Message for our 2019-2020 Families!!

Good Evening BridgePrep Tampa Family,

We are so very excited to start our 2019-2020 school year! I thank all our families that came to the Orientation Wed. night and those who have joined us this evening for our Teacher "Meet and Greet" festivities.

Please join us in following updates below that will help guide you successfully through the start of our new year.

1. First day packets will go home with ALL (K-8) students. The packet is critical for us to ensure your child's safety. There is ONE packet for EACH CHILD. Please complete one packet for each child in its entirety then send back to your homeroom teacher.

2. Aftercare is through A. McCarthy (Ms. A). She can be reached via amccarthy@bridgepreptampa.com. Please contact her as your child CAN NOT attend aftercare without registrations. There will NOT be emergency drop ins without registering for care. This is critical for your child safety and health purposes.

3. Nutrition Program is part of a daily service. It is so very important the EVERY FAMILY complete the Free Reduced Nutritional Application even if you are NOT taking part in the program. Your completion of this application will result in 5 volunteer hours (out of the required 20) if turned in the first 2 days of school. FUNDING for your lunches is easy, just sign up through https://secure.myschoolaccount.com/Login.aspx
Breakfast is 2.00 full payment, .30 if reduced, and free if free.
Lunch is 3.75 full payment, .40 if reduced, and free if free.

5. Monday's Dismissal is at 2:30 for Kinder through Eighth (all grade early release). Tues. through Friday dismissal is at 2:45 for Kinder and First with Second through Eighth releasing at 3:30.

6. If you have a Kinder or First grader with an older sibling (in second - eighth), the younger child will be brought to the main schoolhouse for dismissal with their older sibling.

7. Aftercare will be picked up from the main building 4:00 - 6:00pm

8. Morning care will be held at the Primary Learning Center behind the two story main building. Older siblings will be brought to the main building at 7:45 by an morning care counselor to begin their academic day.

9. Required agendas for purchase are now in our main office.

10. Uniforms are required and mandatory. Parent(s)/Guardians will be called if a child is not in uniform.

Please understand that the first day is quite hectic and not a direct reflection of how our arrival and or dismissal will look on a consistent bases. We ask for your patience and understanding while many families adjust.

Your teachers will be keeping you abreast of academic schedules, enrichment, and social emotional curriculum. Please reach out to your homeroom teacher as needed.

I thank you for entrusting us with your child social and academic success. I feel blessed to have you as part of our BridgePrep Tampa family.

Sincerely,

Christine Harris M.Ed
